Biological Fermentation

Biological Fermentation

In the production of intermediates, raw materials, and other biological products mainly produced by biological fermentation, the concentration of the target product in the fermentation broth is relatively low, generally below 10%. The target product is usually unstable and can cause denaturation and deactivation when exposed to heat, extreme pH, and organic solvents. And there are numerous mycelium, impurities, residual sugars, pigments, and inorganic salt ions in the feed solution that affect production control and product quality. The membrane integrated separation technology with ceramic membrane as the core is an emerging and advanced separation technology developed in recent years. Ceramic membrane, with its excellent chemical stability, high precision, easy cleaning and automation, can completely replace traditional process separation such as plate frame and rotary drum. While improving product quality, it greatly reduces production energy consumption and wastewater discharge.
